Privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026.
This policy covers macroscalculator.app. It is run by the operator of Macros Calculator.
The short version
- We don't use cookies and there are no accounts.
- The numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser. They are not sent to us.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your browser. As you type, your inputs are added to the page address (the query string) so you can bookmark or share your results. Anyone you send that link to will see the numbers in it. Your choice of metric or US units is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are visited, how fast they load, and roughly where visitors come from. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't use fingerprinting, and doesn't build a profile of you. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site at the moment. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any ad or tracking code goes live.
Children
The calculators are designed for adults 18 and over. The site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights and contact
Because we don't hold personal data beyond any emails you send, there is usually nothing to access or delete. To ask about anything in this policy, email hello@macroscalculator.app.
